Ang YouthWorks PH ay isang proyekto ng USAID at ng Philippine Business for Education mula 2018-2023 na nagbibigay ng skills training sa mga kabataang Pilipino para makahanap ng trabaho sa hinaharap.

Mentor Registration

YouthWorks PH, the youth employability project of the United States Agency for International Aid and the Philippine Business for Education is looking for 170 mentors for the national rollout of its Flexible Training for Work (FTW) Program. Recruitment shall be on a rolling basis, and call-ups for active mentor duty shall be upon completion of a trainee cohort/batch.


The FTW Mentors will be responsible for the following:

  1. Implementation of online training modules with trainees every week, as outlined in the detailed program of work
  2. Guidance to trainees to complete TESDA online program and the required S2S modules
  3. Conducting online synchronous core skills for employability sessions with trainees
  4. Conduct of one-on-one chats through phone or video calls with their trainees to give feedback on their core skills training performance, monitor accomplishment of the S2S Getting a Job course, provide guidance on the completion.
  5. Follow through with appropriate action on issues discussed on one-on-one chat with the trainees, when needed.
  6. Update all required monitoring and performance evaluation tools on a regular and timely manner
  7. Monthly communication or as necessary with the Head Mentor through email, SMS, video or phone call.
  8. Reporting cases concerning the welfare of the trainees and other factors affecting their training performance
  9. Providing guidance and support to trainees by creating an atmosphere of openness, caring and concern where meaningful communication and trust can exist
  10. Participating in periodic planning and evaluation activities of the program
  11. Assist trainees in their transition to on-the-job trainings with partner companies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years teaching experience in Junior HS, Senior HS, college or in Tech Voc.
  • Basic IT and computer skills
  • Experience in training and facilitating workshops
  • Approachable and has positive outlook
  • Trustworthy, nurturing, integrity and has genuine concern for the trainee’s welfare
  • Communicates clearly and positively
  • Good role model
  • Has access desktop/laptop computer with camera, good internet connection and cellular service signal
  • Willing to take part in YouthWorks PH Career Mentoring onboarding programs
  • Willing to participate in a mentor pooling process (with rolling starting dates)
  • The following are not required but will be an advantage:
    1. Those with TESDA training experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, hospitality and tourism, health services, construction and ICT.
    2. Background in guidance and counselling
    3. Background in distance education




Ang YouthWorks PH FTW (Flexible Training for Work) ng United States Agency for International Development at Philippine Business for Education ay isang programang nagbibigay ng libreng online skills training sa mga kabataan. Layunin nitong turuan ang mga kabataang 18-30 years old ng online modules na makakatulong sa paghahanap ng trabaho. Kabilang sa programa ang mentoring, pag-aaral ng leadership skills, technical vocational skills, at on-the-job training.
